DRIFT19 isn't a challenge - it's easy to learn and that can be a good thing. The weather influences the game a little bit since it affects what cars you can have teammates or opposites. but it's not that hard to outrace your opponents and not a big factor in the match.
Another strong point about DRIFT19 is the variety of different drivers you can pick to get into the game. Each has a different driving style. Some have ridiculously fast driving style and are hard to control if you're not used to driving things fast.
DRIFT19's gameplay is classic arcade racing with a fun twist that encourages you to almost ignore the feel of the pedals. Also, you don't need to race this one in first person. It feels like a short cut to a Cup or Arcade game, the controls are perfect for gamepad.
DRIFT19 is a very pretty game with nice and fluid gameplay mechanics. The driving position is great and the game is one of the best it has ever been played on. It's especially fun when you speed through the different cities, sharp turns and the small hills (and there are some hairpins in there). The D-pad is actually pretty accurate for content, and it's pretty easy to control the buggy. You will spend some time setting your own line before you get out of the starter bin.
DRIFT19 has an original soundtrack and we would recommend listening to that. It's mostly music (and the right kind of music) and can also fit very nicely to the game; the last stretch on the last course goes from a slower section with techno to a rollicking rock section, then it's back to techno. The music doesn't get on your nerves and is in perfect rhythm. The game has great variation in intensity, tempo, instruments and speed which makes the whole feel more powerful.
