The ACCA Foundation in Accountancy (ACCA FIA) is the perfect place to start if you are new to accountancy, or if you’re already working in finance but have no formal qualifications. It's suitable for individuals who are looking to pursue a career in the accounting and finance profession as well as aspiring graduates desiring to further their careers in the field of accountancy.
There are no minimum entry requirements. You can achieve certificates and diplomas along the way before progressing onto the ACCA qualification.
The ACCA Foundation in Accountancy (ACCA FIA) suite focuses on the core skills of financial accounting and management accounting, as well as the wider role of the accountant in business at senior levels. It has been specifically designed to enable our students to earn multiple diplomas:

ACCA Diploma in Accounting and Business (RQF Level 4 graduates) progressing to the ACCA qualification are granted exemptions from the Applied Knowledge Module (3 papers, formerly ACCA Part 1) and thus start directly at Applied Skills level (6 papers) for ACCA Advanced Diploma and Oxford Brookes degree.
